DHBVN to erect 554 new 11 KV feeders

Chandigarh, Aug 9: The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) will erect 554 new 11 KV feeders to segregate rural domestic and agriculture load in its area.

The total number of feeders having mixed load in the rural area is 879.

DHBVN Managing Director Anurag Agarwal said work of erection of 156 such feeders has been completed.

Mr Agarwal said the work has gained momentum and will be completed at an accelerated pace so as to give power supply for longer time to rural domestic consumers and the agriculture consumers.

With the creation of this system, rural area will get three phase power supply for the entire supply period and there will be no shortage of power supply for drinking water and other activities dependent on the three phase power supply.
