Tibetan protest against 'Chinese encroachment'

Hubli, Aug 8 (UNI) Hundreds of Tibetan activists from Mundgod Rehabilitation centre for refugees near here today protest against the 'Chinese encroachment' of their mother and demanded freedom.

The protest was held just few hours before the inaugural function of Olympic games at Beijing.

The activists came in number of vehicles and shouted slogans against Chinese Government for violating human rights and killing innocent Tibetans who have been silently engaged in non violent struggle for freedom.

They also submitted memorandum seeking India's help to gain freedom.
