Cop convicted in bribery case in Andhra

Hdyerabad, Aug 8: The Special Judge for ACB Cases,Visakhapatnam, on Friday, Aug 7 convicted a Head Constable in a bribery case and sentenced him to one year RI besides imposing a fine of Rs 1,000.

P Raja Rao of Anandapuram Police Station was trapped by the ACB when he accepted Rs 5,000 as bribe from a complainant on Saturday, July 7, 2007, an official release said.
