Lokayukta raids houses of govt officials

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) The Lokayukta officials today raided the houses of five government officials and unearthed assets, including cash and jewellery, worth Rs 10 crore, here today.

Talking to newspersons here, Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde said the houses of N Nagesh, Sub-Inspector, C Krishnappa, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dharwad, Khaja Mohinuddin, Regional Forest Officer, Chikmagalur, G Tambad, Regional Transport Officer, Davangere, and B T Chowhan, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dharwad, were raided and seized the assets.
