Twelve people arrested on obscenity charges

Mumbai, Aug 6 (UNI) Twelve people, including nine bar girls, were arrested on obscenity charges and for allegedly running the bar after the stipulated time in Andheri here.

Police said here today that they had received information that bar girls of Mansi Bar and Restaurant were allegedly indulged in obscenity to lure customers.

At around 0005 hours last night, a police team raided the bar and found that nine bar girls were allegedly luring the customers.

The arrested, including a female singer, cashier and manager of the bar, would be produced in Andheri court later today.
