Minister of Puducherry doing well, CT scan taken
Puducherry, Aug 6: Welfare Minister M Kandasamy, admitted to the Government General Hospital on Tuesday, Aug 5 night following a road accident, was healthy and his condition stable.
According to hospital sources, a CT scan was taken this morning following complaints of pain beneath his chest.
Mr Kandasamy sustained leg injuries when the car in which he was travelling to Puducherry from Chennai last evening hit a bus from behind when the bus driver applied sudden brake and another bus coming from behind hit the car damaging it on front and rear portions.
The Minister and his driver were admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Aug 5 night.
Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, Ministers,Former Speaker M D R Ramachandran, PCC President A V Subramanian and senior officials called on Mr Kandasamy at the hospital on Tuesday, Aug 5 night.
A large number of people from his Bahour Constituency thronged the hospital to know the well-being of the Minister on Wednesday, Aug 6.
