Kerala HC issues notice to govt on political crimes
Kochi, Aug 6 (UNI) Kerala High Court today issued notice to the state government in a suo moto case admitted by the court regarding the political crimes in Thalassery sessions division in Kannur district in north Kerala.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice H L Dattu and Justice A K Basheer also directed the state government to file a counter-affidavit, if any, within three weeks.
The court will consider the case again after three weeks.
The High Court had taken up the matter recently following an upsurge in conflicts between Marxist, RSS and BJP cadres, resulting in several deaths, in Thalassery.
