Japanese govt invites proposals for financial aid from NGOs

Patna, Aug 06 (UNI) The Japanese government has invited proposals from non profit organisations for financial aid to carry out various welfare schemes during the financial year 2009-10.

A release received here from Kolkata based office of the Consulate General of Japan said the Japanese government provided financial support to execute various schemes for socio-economic development.

'' It is one time grant to a single project for maximum of approximately 10 million yen (Rs 30 lakhs) for one year,'' the release said adding the finacial aid had been given to various non profit organisations across the India last year.
