About 30 injured in fresh Kashmir clashes
Srinagar, Aug 6 (UNI) About 30 people, including some police personnel were injured during day-long clashes in different parts of the Kashmir valley today.
Official sources said a group of people took to streets at Fateh Kadal, Bagiya Kak Sari and other down town areas raising slogans against the government and communal forces.
However, when the processionists were trying to move towards main streets, police resorted to lathicharge to disperse. However, when it had no impact, police burst teargas shells them.
A group of people also clashed with police in the uptown.
Similar reports were also received from Anantnag and Pulwama in south Kashmir and Baramulla and Sopore in north Kashmir.
