Abducted found dead, locals create ruckus in UP
Azamgarh, Aug 6 (UNI) An irked mob of locals today ransacked property at a police station over the death of a missing elderly in Tehbarpur area here today.
Ram Surat Tiwari (75) of Khatoli village was abducted by masked miscreants on August 4, police said.
The locals had 'gheraoed' the police station, demanding registration of a case into the matter last night.
The abducted was, however, found dead today, which gave vent to the anger of the locals.
The police resorted to lathi charge to disperse the mob.
Meanwhile, the police arrested six agitators and sent the body for a post mortem.
