Two murder case accused escape from court premises

Ghaziabad, Aug 5 (UNI) Police were thrown into a tailspin when two accused in a murder case escaped from the jail on the local court premises.

Superintendent of Police Vijay Bhushan said Inderpal and Manoj were produced in the court amid tight security in connection with the murder of a youth in Nurpur village in 2005. They were being kept in the Masuri jail.

Mr Bhushan said the accused fled after cutting the iron grill of the window of the jail.

A manhunt was launched but a case in this regard was yet to be registered.
