MLAS can't own flat both at JPCGHS and Instant scheme

Chandigarh, Aug 5 (UNI) Any sitting Member of Legislative Assembly of Haryana, who has been allotted a flat as a member of the Haryana Jan Pratinidhi Cooperative Group Housing Society in Sector 28, Gurgaon, will not be eligible for any benefit under the instant scheme, only at Gurgaon.

The decision was taken by the Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, here today.

Some MLAs had sought a clarification from the Speaker whether they were entitled for membership of Group Housing Society at Gurgaon, if they have a plot under Discretionary quota at Panchkula or whether if anybody has a plot under discretionary quota at Gurgaon, is entitled for allotment of 14 marla plot at Panchkula under the new scheme.
