Allottee Traders to be rehabilitated in GLF, Hisar

Chandigarh, Aug 5 (UNI) The Haryana government today decided to transfer land measuring 17 acre two kanal eight marla of GLF Hisar to Improvement Trust Hisar for rehabilitation of the allottees of commercial plots in Vyapar and Vayavsai Kunj Scheme, Phase-I, Hisar.

The Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here today, said that the Improvement Trust, Hisar would undertake construction of staff quarters, office building and rest house on the alternate site to be provided by Animal Husbandry Department for the purpose.

The expenses on creating new infrastructure would be borne from the funds of sale proceeds to be derived from the sale of the land.

The improvement trust would develop the alternate site only after the shifting of the offices, residents and rest houses located on the land in question.

After completion of construction of the buildings for Animal Husbandry Department or HLDB on alternate site and development of commercial site, any remaining amount available as savings out of sale proceeds of land in question, shall be shared between, the HLDB and improvement trust, Hisar in the ratio of 70:30 respectively and 100 per cent amount so derived from the disposal or sale of debris of old buildings of the department shall be credited to HLDB.

Archaeological Survey of India had issued notice to the Trust to the effect that the area where the commercial plots have been allotted was a restricted area as it is within 100 meters from the monuments of Gujri Mahal Tehkhana and Feroze Shah Mahal.

Therefore, an alternate site belonging to the Animal Husbandry Department was proposed and approved by the Government.
