Thermax bags Rs 415 cr order from steel company

New Delhi, Aug 4: Thermax Ltd. on Monday, Aug 4 said it has received an order worth Rs 415 crore from a leading steel making company for setting up a captive power plant.

The company has received the order as a part of the 4.2 MTPA steel capacity expansion of the customer. The captive power plant will use the waste gas from the furnace to produce power, it said in a statement. The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of captive power plant with blast furnace gas fired boilers, steam turbine generators and balance of plant.
