RBI conducts raid, seizes fake currency worth Rs 20 lakh
Lucknow, Aug 4 (UNI) A team of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) seized counterfeit currency worth Rs 20 lakh from the State Bank of India's Dumriyaganj branch in Siddharthnagar district today.
On a tip off, the team raided the strong room of the bank and made the seizure, police said.
Besides, the fake notes, Rs 70 lakh were found missing, they added.
Police was yet to make any arrest in this connection.
Investigation was on.
