Punjab Governor mourns death of Naina Devi tragedy

Chandigarh, Aug 4 (UNI) The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Gen (retd) S F Rodrigues has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of many lives, in the unfortunate tragedy at Naina Devi Temple in Himachal Pradesh.

General Rodrigues has asked the Punjab State Red Cross society to liaison with their counterpart in Himachal Pradesh and help in arrangements for carrying bodies of the victims of Punjab to their respective native places and also give necessary medical relief to the injured.

He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
