Nitish government delaying Rlys project execution: RJD
Patna, Aug 3 (UNI) The Opposition, RJD, today alleged that several railway projects in Bihar were pending due to non-availability of land for the projects.
The party's national spokesperson Shyam Rajak told newspersons here that Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had sanctioned several projects worth Rs 52,000 crore for the state.
He alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was not taking any interest in providing land for the projects.
More than 140 acres of land was acquired for the Rail Wheel Factory project in Chhapra during the RJD regime in Bihar, but it was transferred to the Railways in 2006, owing to the NDA government's dilly-dallying attitude in Bihar, Mr Rajak claimed.
