Kidnapped tractor driver, assistant killed in Bihar

Samastipur, Aug 3 (UNI) The bodies of a tractor driver and his assistant, who were kidnapped a few days back, were recovered by police from a field at Madanpur village under Chakmehasi police station here.

Police said today that acting on a tip-off, a team rushed to the spot yesterday and recovered the bodies of Devendar Maji and Rajesh Maji, who were kidnapped from Piar police station area of the neighbouring Mujjaffarpur district.

The bodies were sent to Samastipur Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Investigation was started to nab the assailants, police added.
