Jagdish Mukhi blames Sheila for water problems in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Jagdish Mukhi today blamed Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for water problems in the Capital.

Prof Mukhi said the Sheila Dikshit-led Government should first improve the functioning of the Delhi Jal Board and then place large advertisements which are misleading the citizens.

Labelling the Delhi Jal Board as 'most corrupt', Prof Mukhi said the Delhiites have to suffer as the water bills are exorbitant and full of errors. People have to bargain with the Jal Board staff to get the bills ammended.

Prof Mukhi said Sheila Dikshit, who is the chairperson of the Jal Board for the last ten years, has done little to mend the ways of the functioning of the Jal Board.

Prof Mukhi has urged to the Lt Governor to issue strict orders and check corruption at the Jal Board and ensure that the bills are rectified and delivered to the citizens.
