Situation to slowly become normal in Singur: Biman
Kolkata, Aug 2 (UNI) CPI(M) state secretary Biman Bose said here today it was the duty of the state administration to take necessary actions against the elements trying to create tension at Tata Motors' project site in Singur.
Prior to leaving for Delhi to attend the funeral of party's veteran leader Harkishen Singh Surjeet tomorrow, Mr Bose said while several unemployed youths were finding jobs in West Bengal, some anti-land acquisition demonstrators were creating turmoil at the project site.
'' It is the administration's duty to look into the matter seriously and maintain law and order'' Mr Basu added.
He said it was necessary for everybody to resist those elements who were trying to disrupt or damage the Tata's small car project.
Responding to a query about the workforces fleeing from the site, Mr Bose said '' The situation in Singur will become peaceful slowly.'' UNI AKM SB ADG AKJ HT2142
