Sirmour's apple farmers to get regular supply of cartons

Shimla, Aug 2 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Minister Narender Bragta today said that Himachal Pradesh Corrugated Boxes Manufacturer's Association had assured to ensure regular supply of cartons in Sirmour district during apple season.

Mr Bragta said that Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Packagers Association had already assured that every effort would be made to ensure proper supply of cartons to the horticulturists of the state during the current apple season.

He said that elaborate arrangements were being made for transportation of apple produce and availability of trays and cartons to facilitate the horticulturists.

He said that 207 apple collections centres were functioning properly in the state and 33 more such centres would start functioning from Aug 15.
