Shiv Sena corporator's office gets ISO certificate

Pune, Aug 2 (UNI) In a unique case, the office of a local Shiv Sena corporator was today awarded an ISO 9001-2000 certificate for his contribution towards social work.

Talking to UNI, Corporator Promod Nana Bhangire said ''I am very happy that my work has been recognised today.'' ''I may be the first corporator in the country to get such a certificate,'' he claimed.

Mr Bhangire said he had devoted 80 per cent of time for solving people's problems, while 20 per cent for his political work.

Giving credit to Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, he said Mr Thackeray taught him discipline and planning after he began his political career.
