Security beefed up at Shirdi Sai Baba temple

Ahmednagar, Aug 2 (UNI) In view of the recent terror strikes at Bangalore and Ahmedabad, elaborate security arrangements have been made at the Shirdi Sai Baba temple here.

As many as 20 door frame metal detectors have been installed at various places in the temple complex, temple sources said here today.

In the temple complex as many as 88 police personnel, 166 security guards of the temple and 309 private security guards have been stationed, while 61 security guards have been appointed for 24 hours security check up at the main door alone, the sources said.

All the vehicles parked in the temple premises are thoroughly checked, while cycle and motorcycle parking near the temple have been stopped.
