Sai temple priest held for molesting woman

Rajkot, Aug 1 (UNI) A priest of a Sai temple at Sardarnagar area here was arrested on charge of molesting a woman devotee.

According to police, the 40-year-old woman, who used to visit the temple regularly lodged a complaint that she was molested by the 65-year-old priest Bachubhai Patel alias Bachu Ada. He was arrested yesterday.

In her complaint the woman had stated that Patel, who claimed to heal the diseases of devotees, had molested her, when she approached him for curing her paining hand, police said.

The priest had allegedly molested her after hypnotising her, while performing the rituals for healing, police said.
