Promotion of Bollywood film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' held in Mumbai

Mumbai, August 2 : The star cast of Bollywood film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', a tale of a guy's romantic journey through three love affairs was seen at a promotional event in Mumbai on Friday.

The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Siddharth Anand.

Director Siddharth Anand is known for his flicks like Ta Ra Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste.

The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba.

The story of the film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' revolves around Raj and Mahi, Raj and Radhika, Raj and Gayatri.

Different ladyloves at different times in Raj's life. And each one of them teaches him a little bit about love and a little bit about life, in their own sweet way.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone whose last film 'Om Shanti Om' set the box office on fire was excited on being the part of Yash Raj banner.

"I'm extremely lucky I think as early in my career I'd be working with the Yash Raj banner. They (Yash Raj banner people) treat you like a family. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm really looking forward to doing more films with them," said Deepika.

Ranbir Kapoor on other hand had all praise for the director Siddharth Anand.

"It's excellent, I've known Siddharth from a very young age. We have grown up together and we are great family friends. So the experience has been really beautiful it's been a beautiful journey for me as well as the character 'Raj' and we worked really hard on the film. I really hope that audiences likes it too," said Ranbir.

Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani have given the music for this film while Anvita Dutt Guptan has penned its lyrics.

Plethora of singers like K K, Shilpa Rao, Sunidhi Chauhan, British pop sensation Hard Kaur, Raja Hasan, Lucky Ali and Shreya Ghosal have lent their melodious voice to the songs of this film.

Sultry siren Bipasha Basu said the film had all genres of music.

"It's (the music of the film) fantastic, it goes with the film. The story is such that each song given to each character goes with the part or the situation at that point of time. So we have romance, we have dance numbers, we have traditional songs, we have Bhangra beat, and we have covered everything," said Bipasha.

The film is slated for an August release.
