New nodal agency for industrial promotion

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 2 (UNI) A new nodal agency in the name of 'Credit Guarantee Trust' has been created to help the SC/ST entrepreneurs, who come forward to set up rural and small scale industries in the state.

Disclosing this at the debt relief mela for SC beneficiaries at Jaggampet, near here, today, Minister for Small Scale Industries Gollapalli Suryarao said the trust would make arrangements for the SC/ST entrepreneurs to secure credit ranging from Rs one lakh to Rs five crore for setting up small scale industries without any security. A Rs 1,000 crore pool was created under the trust, he said.
