Judos call off strike, resigned en masse
Bhopal, Aug 2 (UNI) More than 1000 junior doctors (judos) attached with five medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh today tendered their resignations en masse even as they called off their six-day-old agitation on the High Court directive.
They were on state-wide agitation took place for increasing stipend and reducing tuition fees.
At Jabalpur, 292 junior doctors of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College have tendered their resignations to Acting Dean D K Sakalle.
Health services in hospital attached with the medical colleges at Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior and Rewa remained crippled due to strike. The agitating junior doctors were running parallel OPDs at few places.
''The next course of action would be decided soon,'' Madhya Pradesh Junior Doctors Association President Jeewan Meena said here today, adding that meeting of Judos was in progress.
