CBI Director who does not believe in talking while walking

New Delhi, Aug 2 (UNI) At a time when there is a technology revolution in the country and a mobile phone has found a place in almost every pocket, new CBI Director Ashwani Kumar, whose job demands round-the-clock connectivity, has not taken a shine to the gadget and does not believe in carrying one.

Talking to UNI soon after assuming office at the CBI headquarters, Mr Kumar said,'' Yeah, it is true that I do not carry a cellphone in my pocket and I tell you the truth that I do not feel the need of it either.'' ''Most of the time I am either in my office or at home, and while travelling in my car, a wireless system is always in place, so tell me where is the need for me to carry a mobile phone with me?'' he counter-questioned.

''But, I tell you that once I feel the need for me to carry a mobile I will definitely go in for that and that day you will find a mobile phone adorning my pocket,'' he said with his tongue-in cheek.
