Air Chief visits Jamnagar Air Force station

Ahmedabad, Aug 1 (UNI) Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal F H Major today arrived at Jamnagar Air Force station, one of the premier air force stations of the Indian Air Force, on a two-day visit.

He was accompanied by his wife Zareen F Major, President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Central).

On arrival, they were received by Air Commodore Hari Kumar, AOC Jamnagar and Mrs Asha Latha, President AFWWA (Local).

This is the first visit by the Air Chief to Jamnagar air force station, after taking over as Air Chief.

During his stay, he will visit various Squadrons and Units and will also address the Air Warriors, defence sources said.
