Police seize Sri Lankan-registered boat
Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, Aug 1 (UNI) Police seized a Sri Lankan-registered fiberglass boat found abandoned on the South sea shore here today.
Police said during a routine patrol, they found the high speed boat with two plastic cans containing 16 litres of kerosene.
However, the engine of the boat was missing.
Police suspect the boat might have been used by the LTTE for smuggling activities. Further investigations were on, police said.
