Percept acquires distribution rights of 'Ramchand Pakistani'

Mumbai, Aug 1 (UNI) Percept Picture Company (PPC) have created an all new league of acquisition and distribution of films, wherein they will release films that will bind India and Pakistan.

After ''Khuda Kay Liye'', the first ever Pakistani film released in India, PPC is now coming up with another critically acclaimed Pakistani film ''Ramchand Pakistani'', selected for the narrative section of the ''Tribeca Film Festival 2008'', New York and screened at the ''Seattle International Film Festival'' in June 2008, which will release this August, a release issued here today said.

The film has been directed by Pakistani Debutante Director Mehreen Jabbar and stars Nandita Das alongwith Pakistani actors like Rashid Farooqui, Noman Ijaz, Maria Wasti, Navaid Jabbar and Syed Fazal Hussain.
