ECoR earns Rs 1556.15 crore in Q1,loads 23.15 million ton freight

Bhubaneswar, Aug 01 (UNI) The east Coast Railways(ECoR) has earned Rs 1556.15 crore during the current financial year ended June and registered an increase in its freight loading and passenger carrying ECoR sources said during this period it loaded 23.15 million ton of freight, registering an increase of 6.14 per cent more loading than the corresponding period of last year .

Similarly, the revenue from the originating during the first quarter if the current year had registered an increase of 24.89 per cent as compared to the corresponding period of last financial year.

On the passenger front, ECoR had carried 15.88 million of passengers during this period registering an increase of 9.59 per cent than the corresponding period of the previous financial year and earned Rs 139.57 crore.
