2 died, 20 injured in accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 1 (UNI) Two persons, including a baby, were killed and about 20 others were wounded in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today They said a passenger vehicle met with an accident at Krangsoo Mattan in south Kashmir district of Anantnag in which one person was killed on the spot and 10 others injured. Two of the injured were admitted to hospital while others were discharged after first aid.
In another incident a vehicle hit and injured critically Afrooza Begum and his eight month old daughter Daniya Nazir at Rohama. The injured were admitted to hospital where Daniya died.
Three children and three drivers were injured when a vehicle hit their three-wheeler at Baba Demb in the down town city. The injured were hospitalised, sources added.
A motorcyclist hit and injured one Ghulam Hassan Mir at Chand mode Baramulla while a seven-year-old boy was injured in a similar accident at Ganderbal.
Three more people were injured after they were hit by vehicles in the valley, sources said adding the injured were admitted to different hospitals.
