High Court orders early disposal of murder case against Kushwaha

Patna, Jul 31 (UNI) Patna High Court today directed Ara district court to dispose of the Isri murder case pending against state rural development minister Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha.

Justice Samrendra Pratap Singh passed the order on a petition filed by one Gupteswar Singh and also directed the state government to provide security cover to all witnesses in the case.

Earlier, the petitioner alleged that the trial against Mr Kushwaha in the case was moving at a slow pace.

Five workers of the BJP were killed at Isri under Jagdispur police station in Bhojpur district on March 29, 1993. Mr Kushwaha is an accused in the case.
