Ex-flame Elvis Presley still haunts Cybill Shepherd

Washington, July 31 : Elvis Presley's ex-lover, actress Cybill Shepherd has revealed that she is still haunted by the 'King of Rock'.

The 58-year-old actress, who dated Presley shortly before his death in 1977, said that her ex love still haunts her, as she could helped him get out of his vicious life.

"I don't feel him (Presley) in a way that I feel I have to call Ghostbusters, but I've been haunted by the sense that when I knew him, he was very sweet but also seriously into drugs," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"So I've been haunted by wishing he could have lived longer because I'm from Memphis and I've had the fame thing, too. Maybe I could have helped him," she added.

Meanwhile the rock n roll legend has been voted the celebrity that British people would most like to bring back to life.

In a survey conducted by Warner Home Video to mark the DVD release of Pushing Daisies, Presley topped the poll with 23 percent of the votes.
