E-mail threatens to blow up India TV office tonight

Noida, Jul 31 (UNI) The India TV news channel today received an e-mail purportedly by a militant outfit threatening to blow up its office here tonight.

According to sources, the e-mail, sent from [email protected], said, ''In the name of Allah, we'll blast your office at around 2000 hrs.'' It further said that ''tumne humhare khilaf bahut bola hai. Hum ye jang jeet kar raheinge...tum agar rok sakte ho to rok lo'' (You have been talking against us. We will win the battle at any cost...prevent it, if you can).

Meanwhile, a posse of police has been garrisoned and Bomb Disposal Squad launched a massive search operation.

Gautam Buddha Nagar SSP R K Chaturwedi and senior ATS and Uttar Pradesh STF officials are camping in the area.
