DD to telecast Beijing Olympics live

New Delhi, Jul 31 (UNI) Doordarshan will telecast live the Beijing Olympics 2008 on the National Channel (DD-1) and the DD Sports.

The opening ceremony will be telecast from 1730 hrs to 2105 hrs or till the end of the opening ceremony on August 8.

The closing ceremony will also be telecast live from 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs or till the end on August 24.

DD Sports will telecast live all India participating events with customised commentary. The channel will telecast all Olympic games live/deferred live round the clock.
