Gujarat Gas April-June net up 5.44% at Rs 43.58 cr

New Delhi, Jul 30 (UNI) Gujarat Gas Co Ltd, a subsidiary of BG Group Plc, today said it has posted a 5.44 per cent jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 43.58 crore during the quarter ended June 2008, against Rs 41.33 crore over the same period a year ago.

The company, which is a gas distributor in Gujarat, has registered a 13.58 per cent increase in net sales at Rs 310.18 crore during April-June period, as compared to Rs 273.08 crore during the corresponding period last year, a statement said.
