Chief Minister releases book on poetry
Shimla , Jul 30 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today released a book of ghazal, 'titlled 'Thoroughfare'.
The book is authored by Himachal Pradesh Sahitya Academy Awardee, Dr Kanwar Dinesh Singh.
The work is a collection of verses which is an innovative and unique experimentation with the genre of ghazals in English, duly maintaining the typical emotive content, tenderness of feeling, subtle lyricism, linguistic felicity and structural ingenuity as one finds in the ghazals in Urdu and Hindi.
