Seven members of family killed in Bulandshahr
Bulandshahr, UP, Jul 29 (UNI) Altogether seven members of a family were shot dead by armed miscreants at Barali village under Aurangabad police station in the district late last night.
Police were yet to unearth the reason behind the gruesome killing of seven members of the family.
State Additional Director General of Police (law and order) Brijlal said here that senior officials were camping on the spot and a case against unidentified criminals has been registered.
He said the criminals first killed Sukhbir Singh Jat, the head of the family, when he was sleeping near the tubewell in his farm.
Later, the miscreants entered his house and shot dead Sukembala(52), wife of Sukhbir, his two sons Suryapratap (29) and Abhishek (26), Mamta (25), wife of Suryapratap and Lata (22), wife of Abhishek.
Two-year-old Rinku, son of Suryapratap was also killed in the open firing by the criminals.
Mr Brijlal said additional police force have been deployed in the village and police teams have been set up to find out the culprits.
Tension prevailed in the village after the incident, police added.
