Rupee resumes low at 42.70/71 against per USD

Mumbai, Jul 29: The Rupee resumed low at 42.70/71 against the USD with a small loss of 15 paise from its last close of 42.55, ahead of the central bank rate quarterly review of monetary policy.

Traders received negative reports on Asian stocks that raised worries of more capital outflows and on month-end dollar buying by oil importers. Later, it fluctuated between 42.65 and 42.72 per dollar during the mid-morning session.
