Life imprisonment to a person for killing wife
Siwan, Jul 29 (UNI) One person was sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 25,000 for killing his wife two years ago.
Additional district and Sessions Court Ganeswar Srivastava also awarded two years of rigorous imprisonment to the accused for allegedly possessing fire arms.
However, both the sentences would run simultaneously.
Police said the accused, Mumtaj Ahmed, shot dead his wife Ranjita Khatun on September 28, 2006 in his house over a family dispute.
