Bomb hoax in Ahmedabad and Mehsana

Ahmedabad, Jul 29: Police received two bomb threat calls in Ahmedabad and Mehsana on Tuesday, July 29 morning but they turned out to be hoaxes.

Ahmedabad police received information that two bombs have been planted in Ashram Road area. Upon investigation, it turned out to be a hoax. Similarly,the principal of a school in Mehsana (North Gujarat) informed police of receiving an anonymous phone call this morning. All schools in Mehsana were closed following the threat. After intensive search police found no explosives on the school premises. Police is now trying to trace the call.
