Two held, morphine worth Rs 50 lakh seized

Deoria, Jul 28 (UNI) Two persons were arrested and morphine worth Rs 50 lakh was recovered from their possession late last night, police said today.

The duo were identified as Bablu Singh and Satyendra Singh, who were nabbed from Wazeerganj crossing.

On being frisked, the illegal substance was seized from them.

They had earlier served 16 months jail term in a kidnapping case.
