Tony Romo helped Jessica Simpson get her confidence back

New Delhi, July 28 : Jessica Simpson's beau Tony Romo has helped the pop singer restore her self-confidence and get over her divorce from Nick Lachey.

The American footballer helped the heartbroken singer get over her failed marriage and encouraged her to release a country album.

"Tony tells Jessica not to let life pass her by," China Daily quoted a source as saying .

"Tony is also the first to boost Jess about her body! Jessica admits she has packed on a few pounds but she doesn't care. She is loving life and isn't trying to be Daisy Duke," the source added.

Though the 28-year-old singer admits that she is in love with Tony but isn't sure if she is ready to tie the knot with him.

She said: "We've been together for seven to almost eight months now. I don't really know about wedding bells - I still love him, and I'm still with him, so that's a good sign."
