Nand Lal Sharma SJVNL's Executive Director (Personnel)

Shimla, Jul 28 (UNI) Mr Nand Lal Sharma, an HAS Officer of the 1989 batch, has joined public sector Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL) as its Executive Director (Personnel), company's official spokesman said today.

Before joining SJVNL, he was special secretary to the Himachal Pradesh government in the Health Department.

A post graduate in Agricultural Economics from Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur and MBA from Slovenia (Europe), Mr Sharma started his career in Himachal Administrative Services as Assistant Commissioner, Chamba.

The spokesman said during his two decades diversified career, he has served in various capacities as SDM Arki in Solan district, SDM Barsar in Hamirpur district, Land Acquisition Collector at Rampur, Mandi and Shimla and HP State Electricity Board (HPSEB) secretary, Deputy Secretary to the chief minister, special secretary GAD and Director Ayurveda.

Mr Sharma brings with him a vast administrative experience and exposure in diverse fields, he added.
