Four feared drowned in boat accident at Vaishali
Hajipur, Jul 28 (UNI) At least four people were feared drowned when a boat carrying them capsized midstream in Billichaur (barron land filled with water) under Deshari police station in Vaishali district today.
According to police, the ill-fated boat was ferrying about 10 people from Sehria to Deshari Bazar when the accident occurred.
Two among the four deceased belonged to the same family, police added.
The accident took place as the boat was overcrowded. The rest of the passengers swam to safety.
All the victims were the residents of Sehria village.
