Youth arrested for making fake threat call
Kochi, July 27 (UNI) A youth was arrested for making a fake threat call to the police, stating that a bomb was planted in a city hotel today.
Police arrested Manoj (21), who in an inebriated state called the police and gave the false information.
He was arrested on the spot by shadow police, who overheard his conversation on the cell phone.
Police said no search was conducted at the hotel as Manoj confessed his crime.
Police had beefed up security in the city in the wake of a terrorist threat in the State.
