Hooda calls for use of quality construction material
Rohtak, July 27 (UNI) The Haryana Government has issued instructions to concerned officers to ensure that material of good quality is used for construction of various projects or else stern action would be taken against those compromising on quality.
This was revealed by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while redressing the grievances of the people after reviewing the construction of the new building of the Irrigation Rest House here today.
This building would cost Rs 1.90 crore and would have a conference hall, staff quarters and parking facility. It would be completed by next month.
Mr Hooda also urged the people to plant more trees, especially during rainy season as it would not only make Haryana green but would also add to their income. He said that National Horticulture Mission had been implemented in the State under which saplings were being provided to the people free of cost by the Forest Department. He also urged the people to not only plant saplings, but also maintain them.
He promptly redressed grievances of the people on the spot.
He said the State Government had been implementing a number of welfare programmes.
