Amarnath Samiti holds demonstration in Jammu amid curfew

Jammu, July 27 : As the Sri Amarnath Sangharsh Samiti (SASS) today holds its demonstration against the revocation of the State Government's order to allocate land to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) in Jammu, the curfew was clamped in on Saturday night as a precautionary measure.

The curfew will remain in force till this evening, a police spokesman said.

He said that the state police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel have been deployed in the city and other parts of the District to maintain law and order.
